Over a decade ago, God birthed the Hot Hearts Regional Evangelism Conference as an answer to the prayers of a group of South Plains youth ministers seeking to reach this generation for Christ. Since 1996, God has blessed Hot Hearts and grown it to nearly 6,000 in attendance in 2006. In 2006, Hot Hearts birthed Ignite Student Ministries. Although Hot Hearts has a new name, the purpose remains the same: to proclaim Christ clearly to this generation. 

Ignite Student Conference combines the messages of the most effective youth communicators and the very best in contemporary Christian music with state of the art video and light shows for a high energy weekend. Over the years, the conference has grown supernaturally.

The impact of Hot Hearts/Ignite Student Ministries has been phenomenal in the lives of the people who have attended the conferences. Life-changing decisions have been made to follow Christ. Over the years, thousands of students and adults have been impacted for Christ, and hundreds of students have given their lives to Jesus Christ. 

Only God knew what was about to happen when that first group of youth ministers sat down and began to pray about a way to effectively reach students with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
